#1 There is another sky

There is another sky
by Emily Dickinson

There is another sky,

Ever serene and fair,

And there is another sunshine,

Though it be darkness there;

Never mind faded forests, Austin,

Never mind silent fields -

Here is a little forest,

Whose leaf is ever green;

Here is a brighter garden,

Where not a frost has been;

In its unfading flowers

I hear the bright bee hum:

Prithee, my brother,

Into my garden come!

This is a lovely poem by Emily Dickinson. It's actually one of my favorite poem.
I remember the time that I was really encouraged by this poem. It was almost at the end of the semester where we had final exams and all those projects and deadlines of assignments. I was also very homesicked, and extremely stressed that I thought my life was so miserable; but after reading this poem which I found from nowhere, it taught me that there is always another side to everything.

My favorite line is "There is another sky, ever serene and fair" Even though it is described in simple words, I could just picture the clear blue sky. I also love this poem on how it's organized by comparing the bads and goods, but actually focusing on the good ones.

This poem is a beautiful poem. In life times, there will be many more rainy days, but expecting another rainbow and clear sky, we should always face what's in front of us and be thankful anytime.
